Patients and Caretakers

Overview

Neurocode is a clinical laboratory dedicated to offering only the most advanced and accurate diagnostic tests. We refuse to put our patients at risk by settling for “good enough.”

Our neuroimmunology testing is backed up by decades of expertise. Our cell-based assays are best-in-class and offer the best diagnostic accuracy for myasthenia gravis, CIDP, NMOSD, and more.

We have the latest and greatest diagnostic tests for Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative disorders, including the brand new p-Tau217 blood test ALZpath Dx. Avoid painful spinal taps or expensive neuroimaging with our groundbreaking blood-based tests. With one small needle prick we can give you unprecedented insight into your condition.

How to get your doctor to order the test?

How to talk to your doctor about testing options?

All tests must be ordered by a practicing healthcare provider that you have had a previous appointment with. We know that it can be difficult to find time in your doctor’s busy schedule, so we have several options for how to connect us to help facilitate the test.

  1. Direct messaging through web portal – Doctors are most responsive to messages from patients. You can send our information to them directly through your medical results portal (e.g. MyChart) .
  2. Email introduction – Sometimes web portals are not an accessible option. In these cases it may be easiest to email your provider and CC a member of our support team. We can take over from there and coordinate the testing.
  3. Provide contact information – If all else fails, simply relay your doctor’s name, phone, and address to our customer support team. The cold call is tried and true, though it does generally take longer to get a response.
Collect and Ship Sample

Collect and Ship Sample

In order to run the test we will need a sample of your blood shipped to our laboratory in Washington state. To help make this process as simple and painless as possible for you we provide sample collection kits.

Collection kits contain everything necessary to draw, process, package, and ship the sample (including postage). You will either receive the kit from your doctor, or it will be shipped directly to your door.

Next you will need to take the kit to one of our phlebotomy partners. They have over 1,500 locations across all 50 states, so there is sure to be a location near you. Follow the links below to locate the nearest partner.

You must bring the collection kit to the draw appointment. In-person blood draws are generally provided at no cost to you. Mobile phlebotomy may be available to come perform the draw at your home, for an additional fee.
